Sara and her friend Rachel were playing in the Bubble-crops where all the Earthina Moss grows. Earthina moss is lighter than air soil from the home planet earth. All of the food and air keeping the kiddettes like Sara and Rachel alive and well comes from the plants and air-fern growing in the Bubble-crop rooms. There are hundreds of these fun places to play and hide and get exercise on the Mother space ship. Kiddettes are the smallest of space travelers, only two years old and too small to go the smaller adventure probes where elder kiddettes find facts. Sara and others her age are not too young to find facts, they already have found the secrets of the Earthina, and they know it is where all new life comes from. The youngest kiddettes are two weeks old and walk and hop in the gravi-bump room. A two week old kiddette does not weigh anything in the grav-i -bump room. When they hop, they go right to the top and must learn to land upside down on their feet. They must find this out for themselves, and the facts come quickly in the room with no gravity. They have toys called gravi-bump balls and gravi-bump trays. You can hold onto the ball or the tray and coast in the middle of the gravi-bump room and kick off from the sides as you find the facts about jumping gently. It was time for Sara and Rachel to take one of the new kiddettes from the gravi-bump room. It is the work of each older kiddette to give facts to the younger ones. This work is fun, because Sara must enter the gravi-bump room and catch the very fast month old Karra. Karra like to kick off fast and could turn around and kick off into another direction faster than any other kiddette. It was a long time since Sara had played in the gravibump room and without her magna shoes (which hold her onto the floor), she was not used to the facts about the gravibump as much as Karra was. As soon as Sara pushed off, Karra would push off and bump a ball towards her. Karra would move over it or under it and then land upside down ready to kick off again. Karra was smaller and faster and kept pushing balls and trays at Sara. Rachel took off her magna shoes and went into the room to help Sara. Rachel remember the gravibump facts and knew how to push off with her hands as well as her feet. Rachel pushed off towards Sara, and caught her feet with her hands. The two kiddettes were harder to jump from while they were together and on her next jump Karra sailed right into Sara's hands. The three kiddettes went out of the gravibump room and put on their magna shoes. Karra was ready for more facts. Rachel and Karra went back to the Bubble-crops to play in the Earthina moss. Sara stopped for a drink of Bubble-crop juice which floats inside bubbles above each air fern. The juice was sweet with Earthina moss sugars and it made Sara close her eyes and daydream of facts she would soon learn in the adventure probes. She woke from her daydream by the loud pop of the juice bubble. It was ready to let it's drops spray over the air fern beneath it when Sara had drank from it. The spray drops felt cool over Sara's face and hands, but she knew she could not stay in the spray long for it would wet her hair and make it curly. She went to meet Rachel and found her sleeping on a fluff-mound bush. Sara shook her and 'I asked "Where is Karra?". Rachel's eyes opened and she cried "Oh no, I don't know". Sara said don't worry, the Earthina moss is soft and Karra's footmarks will be easy to see." Sure enough, Karra's tiny foot marks started right next to the fluff mound bush and went straight ahead for 11 steps. Rachel followed the steps and looked for more, but instead she found Karra's tiny magna shoes. "Oh no", Rachel cries "Karra is playing gravi-bump in the bubble-crop room. She could be anywhere." Rachel heard a pop and looked up toward the air-fern. All of a sudden she was covered with bubble-crop juice. She shook her head and drops flew off. Her hair was getting curly from the sweet wet juice. She closed her eyes and said "ooooh, that's cold". Then she heard another pop followed by a giggle. Rachel looked up again and saw Karra pushing off from the sides of the bubble-crop room and popping the bubble-juice bubbles as she whizzed by them. Sara saw Karra too. She knew the only way to catch Karra in the bubble-crop room was to find a flying fluff-pup. A fluff-pup was soft, and furry, and would fly anywhere around the room if I you tickled it. The only problem was finding one. They looked like fluff-mound bushes and they were all over the place. Sara looked around the Earthina moss and saw a small fluff-mound near by. She went to it and touched it. It didn't move. She tickled it and heard a soft giggle-bark. "Aha, I think I found a fluff-pup". She got on it and tickled some more. "Take me to the Karra Kiddette" she demanded. In one quick shake of fur, the fluff-pup jumped into the air and flew way above Karra. Sara held onto the soft fur as the fluff-pup swooped down in front of Karra. Sara took her right hand and grabbed Karra's foot. Karra went "poof" into the side of the fluff-pup and grabbed the fur tightly. The fluff-pup swooped back down to the Earthina moss and gave a big giggle-bark. "Thank you". said Sara. "I owe you a big bowl of bubble-flakes and juice for this." Rachel said "I thank you too". The fluff-pup gave a giggle-bark and flew back to it's favorite spot on the Earthina moss to sleep. Sara thought to herself, "What a long day, with so much fun, and tomorrow is another day to find facts."
